Stress can negatively impact our health in a variety of ways. Studies show that 60-90 percent of visits to a doctor’s office are due to stress-related illnesses. It is important to address any symptoms of stress before they lead to more serious concerns down the road. Some of the ways that stress can manifest in our bodies are through anxiety, insomnia, depression, digestive concerns, chronic pain, high blood pressure and infertility.
Our stress management program is modeled after the clinical programs of the Benson-Henry Institute for Mind Body Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Our program combines healthy eating and appropriate supplementation, lifestyle counseling, herbal medicine, physical activity and relaxation techniques.
The goal of our program is to help people reduce stress and build resiliency so that they can continue to lead a balanced, healthy and happy life.
